Guided by the philosophy that “movement is medicine, and patients are our purpose,” she is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they love after illness or injury. As a Nurse Practitioner in Physiatry, she believes the best outcomes come from teamwork and enjoys collaborating with therapists and medical specialists to create individualized care plans for every patient.

Growing up as an “Air Force Brat” gave her the opportunity to see the world, but in 2017 she and her family returned home permanently—exactly where they wanted to be.
Outside of work, Christie is married to her best friend, an ER nurse with a strong background in trauma medicine. Together, they are proud parents of a daughter who has recently begun her own career as an ER nurse. When not in scrubs, Christie and her family enjoy spending time outdoors with their five lively dogs, exploring new places, and making the most of their time together.
